The difference in what we deliver lies in the combination of the before, during and after.
Why did we create this methodology?
The problem of modern life and our brain
Today, we work and live almost all the time clicking buttons, typing, or looking at screens. The problem is that, for thousands of years, humans survived by using their hands to build things. Because of this, our brain was programmed by nature to release "happiness hormones" (like dopamine) whenever we make a physical effort with our hands and see a finished result. As modern life has removed these activities from our routine, the brain is deprived of this well-being, leaving us much more vulnerable to stress, anxiety, and depression.
How manual activities "heal" the mind
Scientific studies show that practicing manual and artisanal activities—like painting, working with clay, woodworking, or sewing—acts as a kind of "recharger" for the brain. When you use your hands and focus on creating something physical, your mind calms down, and the production of stress hormones drops drastically. It's a way to exercise the brain so it becomes stronger and more resistant to burnout, restoring your sense of achievement and control.
What the new law for companies is (NR-01)
Mental health problems, such as severe anxiety and depression, have hit frightening records in Brazil, keeping hundreds of thousands of people away from work. In 2025 alone, Brazil recorded a historic high of 546,254 work absences due to mental health issues, an increase of about 15% to 17% compared to 2024. Data from the Ministry of Social Security shows that anxiety disorders and depression lead the leaves of absence longer than 15 days granted by the INSS.
To curb this, the government updated a very important labor rule called NR-01. With this change, starting in 2026, companies will be legally required to prevent mental illness among their employees with the same seriousness as they prevent accidents with machines. Inspectors will demand real proof that the company is actively fighting stress and overload, and those who fail to comply may face fines.
Putting the factors together
To prove they are taking care of their employees' minds, companies need to carry out various actions and adapt processes. Offering manual and artistic activity workshops in the workplace becomes a very interesting complementary action for companies.
